First Grade
Welcome to First Grade!!
I am so excited for us to start our year together.
ABOUT MRS. HENDERSON:
It has been my dream to become a teacher since I was a child. My dad was a teacher and principal, and my mom was a librarian, so growing up I was surrounded by books, teacher manuals, and stuffed animal "students"! I am so lucky to be living out my dream at such a wonderful school district! This is my ninth year teaching at Westmont Hilltop School District. I graduated from Saint Vincent College in May 2016. I have my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Point Park University. My family resides in Altoona, and I frequently go home to visit. My husband, Josh, our Yellow Lab, Koda Bear, Black Lab, Maisey Moo and I live in Westmont. During my free time I like to spend time with my family and friends, hike, watch movies, bake and travel! Again, I am so excited for our first grade adventure!!!
