Welcome to First Grade with Miss Snyder!

Hi everyone! My name is Brittney Snyder and this is my first year as a teacher! I recently graduated from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. I am so blessed to be a part of #OurHomeontheHill! I live in Davidsville with my family and furry friends! I have three dogs: Chewie, Nala, and Spike, who I love so much! During my free time I love to read, try new restaurants, enjoy the outdoors, shop, travel, and surround myself with friends and family! I am looking forward to an exciting year of learning, growth, and fun!

I strive to be an enthusiastic educator with a heart for creating a warm and inviting atmosphere where curiosity is encouraged and every student feels valued. My approach in education is rooted in understanding the individual needs of each student and integrating creative, hands-on learning experiences that cater to diverse learning styles. I am dedicated to building strong connections with my students, fostering a sense of community, while instilling a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom walls.
