As a 2020 Westmont Hilltop graduate, I am so happy to be returning to #OurHomeontheHill! After high school, I started my education journey as an art education major at Chatham University. As the effects of COVID-19 persisted, I transfered to the University of Pitt-Johnstown and into the Secondary English Education program. At UPJ, I had the honor of receiving numerous rewards and running the Sigma Tau Delta National English Honor Society. In addition to completing my English-literature certification, I became an English as a Second Language (ESL) Program Specialist.
As an educator, I strive to be empathetic, creative, and inclusive! I attempt to make class as interactive as possible through fun activities and discussions that promote higher-order thinking; this helps to ensure comprehension and participation.
