Dear Parents and Guardians,
On Wednesday, September 4, 2024, the elementary school will conduct its first weapon detection screening upon arrival. This is a training session aimed at familiarizing students with the process. We will have plenty of staff on duty to ensure that students know how to move through the detector and to assist any student who might have difficulties. Please talk to your child before school to make sure they are aware of the scheduled screening so they are not surprised by the event. After tomorrow, screenings will occur randomly and without parent notification.
