Please see attachments for this week’s assignments for science. You will need to complete the Section 1 Assessment questions that are at the bottom of page 164 in the text (attached). Utilize the textbook pages from last week to assist in answering these questions. You will also need to complete the Guided Reading and Study questions on pages 313-316 (attached as well). Again, use the pages from the text given to you last week in order to assist in answering these questions. Do not complete the At-Home Activity on bottom of page 164. You can choose to answer this week’s questions on a google doc (and then share the doc with me at [email protected]) or send me an email attachment (picture of the work done on composition paper). No need to rewrite the questions. I’ve found an interesting video on fossil fuels I thought some of you might like. It’s for those students who were always asking if I had any Bill Nye videos....well here you go! ???? Have a great week folks. As always, if you have any questions, feel free to email me.
Math
Math has been assigned through the Pearson website. The video(s) and Example pages (Try It questions) on the Pearson site should be done utilizing paper and pencil at home. The 6-3 Math XL Practice and Problem Solving should be done online, as well as the 6-3 Mid-Topic Assessment. I have assigned the paper and pencil portion of 6-4 as well for the week. Nothing needs to be done online for 6-4 however. I've attached an informative “study guide” for you to review when answering any questions on the 6-3 assignment. Answers have been completed on the guide in an effort to show you what steps would be needed in order to properly complete the assignment.
You should continue to get at least one hour of work completed through Education Galaxy this week as well. Most of you are doing a good job with this. However, I’m still seeing certain students at the same stage they were at a week(s) ago.
If you have specific questions regarding either this or the previously posted science assignment, we can discuss during our two Zoom meetings this week.
