Math has been assigned through the Pearson website. The video(s) and Example pages (Try It questions) on the Pearson site should be done utilizing paper and pencil at home. The 7-2 Math XL Practice and Problem Solving should be done online. I have assigned the paper and pencil portion of 7-3 along with just the Solve and Discuss portion of 7-4. That being said, nothing needs completed online for 7-3 and 7-4 for this week. I've attached a few informative video clips from Khan Academy that will assist you in completing all of these assignments.
You should continue to get at least one hour of work completed through Education Galaxy this week as well.
If you have specific questions regarding this or the previously posted science assignment, email me, or we can discuss during our three Zoom meetings this week during office hours.
Science
Please see attachments for this week’s assignments for science. Read text pages 174-178. You will need to complete the Section 3 Assessment questions that are at the bottom of page 178 in the text (attached). All answers to the questions will be in the attached textbook pages (174-178). You will also need to complete the Renewable Sources of Energy Guided Reading and Study pages along with the Renewable Sources of Energy Review and Reinforce worksheet. I will post last week's textbook pages again for easier research when answering these questions.You can choose to answer this week’s questions on a google doc (and then share the doc with me through classroom once you finish) or send me an attachment (picture of the work done on composition paper through email). I’ve found an another interesting video, this time on nuclear energy. It's a bit longer, but has a lot of good information on how nuclear energy is created and how the waste is being managed. Don't be thrown off guard by the amount of attachments. The majority of them are this week and last week's textbook pages. Only two more weeks folks.
